Promoted to 1er Cru for Chardonnay in 2000. The vineyard is near the top of the hill overlooking the village, hence more suited to Chardonnay than Pinot Noir. Facing mostly southeast, albeit without complete exposure to the morning sun, the Hill of Corton is in the way.
